Data Entry Supervisor - APS 3 Application Process



Most stages of the recruitment process are an online only process. 

Application Form:

You will be required to complete an application form. The questions asked are a combination of educational and role specific and you will have access to sufficient information to allow you to self-assess against eligibility and suitability criteria. The application form also allows us to:

  • captures diversity information

  • captures health assessments

  • capture citizenship details and

  • allows you to self-assess against key attributes of the roles

Game Bases Assessment:

We use Revelian to assess your cognitive ability, numerical reasoning and problem solving in an online game format called Cognify which consists of 6 online mini games.

You will also be invited to complete a Work Safety assessment which can identify your attitude and behaviour around safety and your propensity to take risks and disregard safety processes.

All assessments are mobile enabled and can be completed on any device.

Online Interview:

We use SparkHire to conduct a pre-recorded, online interview which will be used to assess your suitability against the job description via online interviewing. The interview will include 5 questions which you will consider and then have one minute to respond, this will then be reviewed by the ABS.

Phone interview:

If you are shortlisted after your online interview you will then be invited to attend a 15 minute phone interview with an ABS team member. 

 

Reference Check:

We use Referoo to conduct online reference checks. These checks are completed to support your relevant experience, reliability and capability. You will be asked, via an email from Referoo, to provide details of two referees who will be contacted and asked to complete questionnaire to support your employability. Reference checks will form part your assessment only and no candidate will be rejected based solely on the results of these checks.

Pre-Employment Check:

Prior to being issued a contract you will be required to undergo a pre-employment check. We use AusPost to facilitate this process. The checks can take up to 15 working days to receive results, so it is highly recommended that you complete your pack and submit it to AusPost as soon as possible.

You will undergo the following:

  • National Police Check

  • Work Rights Check

  • Identity Check

You will receive an email from AusPost with instructions on how to submit your pack. You will be able to submit online or via an Australian Post outlet. You must provide 4 ID documents in total from the list below. All 4 must be originals and must not be expired.

  • Foreign Passport (with current Australian Visa or Visa Grant Notice2)

  • Australian Government Issued Proof of Age Photo ID Card

  • Firearms Photo ID Licence (not Minor or Junior Permit/Licence)

Category 3

Make up the remaining 2 documents with any unused documents from categories 1 and 2

(Please note, following changes to Australian Citizenship laws on 20 August 1986, if you are born after 20 August 1986 and do NOT have a passport for identification, you will need to provide additional documentation such as your parent’s birth certificate or passport)

Contract Issue:

We use Docusign to issue contracts to candidates to successful candidates. You will be issued a link to access your contract, here you can read, electronically sign, accept and save a copy of your contract. We will automatically be notified of your acceptance and your details will then be passed to ABS who will then contact to commence your onboarding.
