Field Officer

Work locations available in the Northern Territory.
$25.41/hr (inc 25% loading) + Superannuation
Contract dates between 13 July 2021 and 1 October 2021 

Training provided / no experience necessary. Ideal candidates would have a good understanding of their local community and an ability to flexibly plan their workload within allocated weekly hours. The main responsibility of these roles is to make contact with households when dropping off or collecting Census forms and to encourage online participation. Australian Citizens preferred.

The Census Data Operations Centre (DOC) is responsible for processing and coding responses from all digital and paper forms quickly and accurately. Coding is the process of assigning a code from a pre-determined statistical classification or code list to a piece of input information for the purpose of producing statistics. It is governed by guiding principles and processes to ensure correct and accurate information is captured. Coding is undertaken by both automated processes and by clerical staff using computer programs.
